WSB Western Province secured their first victory in style, defeating the Momentum Multiply Titans by seven wickets. Edward Moore was the hero, smashing an unbeaten 88* as Western Province comfortably chased down 144.
Their match against a strong Auto Investments North West Dragons side was another tough contest. Despite Edward Moore’s 38, Western Province posted a subpar 142/9.
Dragons capitalised, with Wihan Lubbe’s 55 anchoring their chase as they secured the win with two balls to spare. Western Province’s opening game against Goldrush Boland was abandoned due to rain, forcing both sides to share the spoils.
In their clash with the Dafabet Warriors, George Linde’s unbeaten 66 led Western Province to 148/7. However, a brilliant all-round performance from Beyers Swanepoel saw the Warriors chase down the target, handing Western Province a five-wicket loss.
